A concave pedal gives riders a locked-in feel by cradling your foot in a "pocket" created by the platform. Turbine is designed with concavity in all ways—front to back inboard to outboard. With the added grip from the pins riders can pedal and descend with a more locked-in feel than ever

Asymmetric pedal platform follows the anatomical shape of a foot—wider at the front than the back—giving maximum support pin contact and grip. This platform shape also offers slightly better clearance and a better chance of deflecting off ground objects

Simple well-proven internal architecture (with a bushing on the inboard side and bearing on the outboard side) means Turbine eliminates the bearing bump usually found next to the crank threads. Riders get a larger effective platform and can place their feet closer to cranks for better pedaling ergonomics
