The revered Shimano Ultegra hub is paired to a premium DT Swiss GR 531 gravel rim to create the ultimate value and performance. Tubeless ready and pre-taped 24mm internal width rim provides an optimal set up with gravel adventure and modern higher volume all-road tires. Featuring DT Swiss Competition butted spokes and DT Swiss nipples with thru axles and Center Lock disc for compatibility with most modern road and gravel bikes. The Ultegra/GR531 wheels make a great replacement for high-end bikes or an optimal upgrade for entry level and mid-level bikes.

Amazing little gadget, I have no complaints other than the fact that sometimes the wrist gesture to wake it up sometimes lags or isnt very responsive. Amazing customer service as well, would buy again.

I purchased the Garmin Edge 1050 primarily for bicycle navigation and route following. The unit originally came with working U.S. TopoActive maps. Garmin then offered a map update. The update failed with “Map Update Failed, Error Code: 0” and the original U.S. TopoActive maps were removed.

I connected the Edge to Garmin Express on Windows and attempted to reinstall only TopoActive United States East and West 2026.11. Garmin Express repeatedly failed with “Some Changes Not Applied.” The device has 42.1 GB free out of 57.6 GB, so lack of storage space is not the problem. Garmin Express now shows TopoActive (0), leaving the device without the U.S. TopoActive maps it originally had.

For a cycling computer costing over $600, this is shocking. A routine manufacturer-provided update took a functioning navigation device and removed the maps required for its primary purpose. This Edge 1050 is effectively useless to me as a bicycle navigation computer.
